Eric Restuccia is the Deputy Solicitor General for the Department of Attorney General. He has been a state attorney for more than 22 years, serving also as Solicitor General (2008-2011) and Chief Legal Counsel (2018) for the Department. He also worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Wayne County from 1998 to 2003. Before working as a government attorney, Eric clerked for Justice Dorothy Comstock Riley (1995 to 1997) and served as a prehearing attorney for the Court of Appeals (1993 to 1995). He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School (class of 1993) and of the University of Pennsylvania (class of 1990).
